Kindergarten Readiness

Writing with Babies: Fingerplays such as Patty Cake introduce babies to the concept of writing by tracing the letter B and helping them to strengthen the muscles in their hands.  

Writing with Toddlers: Write to-do lists for the day and let your child check off each items as you complete them.  

Writing with Preschoolers: Trace letters and shapes in a shallow pan of flour, rice or salt.
