Virtual training: Users can sign up for a virtual training session hosted by team OverDrive.
Options for Kindle Fire devices: Amazon has not yet accepted our submission of the Libby app to the Amazon Appstore so the OverDrive app will remain available for Kindle Fire users to download and access until further notice. Users with Kindle Fire devices can also sideload Libby manually following these steps.

Libby, by OverDrive

Borrow ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines to read on your phone or tablet using the Libby app by OverDrive. You can even send and read your borrowed ebooks to your Kindle ereader (U.S. only)! Libby Setup

Libby is an app from Overdrive.

Libby is available in iOS, Android, or Windows.

If you have a Windows computer, Mac computer, or a Chromebook, you can use Libby in your web browser at libbyapp.com. We suggest using the latest version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge (Chromium)

Libby for Fire Tablet

You can install Libby from the Amazon Appstore on compatible Fire tablets. Libby is compatible with Fire tablets from 2020 or later, plus some earlier models

Libby Checkouts

20 checkouts total.

10 holds; flexible checkout periods-7, 14, 21 days for all formats except videos.

1 time renewal option 3 days before due date if available otherwise item placed on hold list.

Early returns available for eBooks and for most Audiobooks.

Videos – Checkout 3 for 7 days. Part of the 20 checkout total. Watch unlimited times during checkout period.

Magazines - Unlimited checkout and not part of the 20 total checkout.

Loans expire at the same time of the day that they were borrowed. For example, if you borrow a book at 12:30 PM, it'll expire around 12:30 PM on the last day of the loan period.

Libby Features

Libby Magazines - Unlimited checkout and not part of the 20 total checkout.

ePULP content is now available in Libby.

The Great Courses and Qello Concerts are available in Libby.

Craftsy is now available for OCLS customers on the Libby app!

Craftsy is a service that offers crafting videos, tutorials and additional resources for creative makers.

Customers can access Craftsy via the “Extras” section on the Libby app, alongside Qello Concerts and The Great Courses.

Kanopy can be accessed via the "Extras" in the Libby app. Watch a film/movie with Kanopy.

Libby by Overdrive is available in iOS, Android, or Windows.
