As part of our Children’s Initiative, every Orange County Public Elementary School has a dedicated staff liaison from the Orange County Library System (OCLS). Liaisons can answer questions about library services and make school visits. Call 407.835.7323 to connect with Jennifer Schock, Youth Outreach Coordinator, or send an e-mail to email@example.com. Middle and high schools can also contact the Youth Outreach Coordinator with questions or requests for services.

A field trip to the library is a great way to celebrate literacy any time of year. The Orlando Public Library offers several programs for your school to choose from including library tours, storytimes and database classes. Branch locations offer storytimes and general library tours as well as tours that may highlight a specific part of the collection. Tours of a branch are available by special arrangement with the particular location of interest. The best part is all library field trip services are free of charge.
The library makes strides each year to promote literacy and create greater awareness of the services we offer. Invite the library to your next school/community event! Contact Jennifer Schock, Youth Outreach Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
