The National Women's History Museum aims to educate, inspire, and empower. Its exhibits, articles, and downloadable resources are available online, but NWHM's vision is to one day exist as a world-class museum on the National Mall in Washington, DC.

This terrific source from the Smithsonian Institute is useful for students, parents, and teachers. It features a variety of articles and photo galleries on Women’s History, as well as lesson plans and other teaching resources useful for anyone interested in “Her-story.”

This resource-rich site features 26 documentary short films profiling extraordinary but lesser-known American women. It also includes free lesson plans, published on PBSLearningMedia, to help teachers bring women's history to life.
