English for Families

English for Families Registration

Join us in this in-person Family Literacy Program to practice reading with your child(ren) and learn English vocabulary for everyday use. This program meets once a week for 5 weeks.

Mango Languages offer conversational learning at two levels. "Mango Basic" is designed to teach simple, practical and polite conversational skills for beginners. "Mango Complete" courses offer 100 lessons on each language for a more in-depth learning experience.
Rocket Languages This link opens in a new window
Learn at your own pace with this fun and interactive database. Rocket Languages places an emphasis on conversational learning.
Pronunciator This link opens in a new window
Pronunciator offers a fun, user friendly system to learn 164 languages, including English as a Second Language (ESL), American Sign Language (ASL), and instruction on the US citizenship civics, reading, and writing section of the Naturalization Test. Pronunciator provides interactive audio and videos, music with lyrics, translations, and practice quizzes to help you learn and strengthen your language skills. Personalized courses allow you to create language courses for your individual needs including occupations such as nursing, airport staff, and firefighting.

This resources is good for children and adults looking for content in a native language or those learning a new language. There is also an app available for Android and Apple devices.
