Dame Maggie Smith (28 December 1934−27 September 2024)

Dame Maggie Smith was an British film and stage actress. Her career spanned multiple decades beginning in 1952 when she performed the role of Viola in "Twelfth Night" at the Oxford Playhouse. By 2003, Smith had achieved the Triple Crown of Acting by winning a competitive Academy Award, Emmy Award, and Tony Awards, in addition to her many other accolades.  In her later years she achieved international fame for her roles in Downton Abbey and the Harry Potter films.
