Bob Graham (November 9, 1936–April 16, 2024)

Daniel Robert "Bob" Graham served as the 38th governor of Florida from 1979 to 1987 and as a United States senator from Florida from 1987 to 2005. He was a member of the Democratic Party.  During his time in office, Bob Graham was known for his work with environmental protection programs, his monthly "work days" in which he would spend a day in different occupation, and his work with national security.  After retiring as a US senator, Graham established the "The Bob Graham Center for Public Service" at the University  of Florida with the stated goals of increasing "civic engagement, public leadership and public service" among students, scholars and citizens.
